The Big 3

The three filaments we build for

PLA

Our go-to default. Great for the majority of parts — organizers, brackets, EDC, most gear. Prints easy on any printer. Soft above ~50°C, so step up to PETG for hot or sun-exposed parts.

Bed50°–70°C

PETG (Weather Resistant)

Stronger and more heat- and weather-resistant than PLA+. The pick for high-temperature applications — parts that see direct sun, heat, or the inside of a hot car.

Nozzle220°–250°C
Bed70°–90°C

TPU (Flexible)

Flexible / rubbery. Use it for cases, grips, gaskets, dampers. Slower to print but worth it where rigidity is wrong.

Nozzle210°–240°C
Bed40°–60°C

Default recommendation for most Outpost files is PLA+ — it covers the majority of the library without tuning. Step up to PETG for high-temperature or heavily sun-exposed parts. Check each model page for any material-specific notes.
