Welcome to Outpost 3D ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and digital products. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Outpost 3D is operated by 3D Resilience Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Indiana.
2. Definitions
- "Service" refers to the Outpost 3D website, platform, and all related services
- "User", "you", "your" refers to any person who accesses or uses the Service
- "Content" refers to all digital files, including but not limited to STL files, G-code files, 3MF files, and any associated documentation
- "Subscription" refers to any paid plan that grants access to downloadable Content
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our services.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
- All prices are in USD and subject to change with 30 days notice
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue subscription tiers
5. License and Usage Rights
Upon purchase of a subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Download Content for personal, non-commercial use (Standard subscription)
- Download Content for personal and limited commercial use (Premium subscription, subject to the Merchant License Agreement)
You may NOT:
- Redistribute, sell, or share the digital files themselves
- Claim ownership of the designs
- Use Content to produce weapons, medical devices, or items requiring regulatory certification
- Remove or alter any attributions or notices
6. Intellectual Property
All Content, designs, trademarks, and other intellectual property on the Service are owned by 3D Resilience Labs LLC or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited license granted above.
7. 3D Printing Disclaimer
3D printing involves inherent risks. By using our Content:
- You acknowledge that printed objects may vary based on printer settings, material, and environmental conditions
- You assume all responsibility for the safety and suitability of printed objects
- You agree that we are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the use of printed objects
- You agree to the Waiver and Release of Liability as a condition of use
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUTPOST 3D AND 3D RESILIENCE LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Fail to maintain an active subscription (access to downloads will be suspended)
Upon termination, your license to use any downloaded Content for personal use survives, but your access to the platform and ability to download new Content ceases.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tippecanoe County, Indiana.
